About

From microbiology to astronomy, from journalism to museum design — a non-linear path.

My world is a branching one — a network of seemingly disconnected experiences that, when you step back and look at them together, turn out to be deeply connected.

I entered university in 1992 to study microbiology. But even before that, two other worlds were already shaping me: competitive show jumping, and amateur astronomy that was quietly becoming part of my identity.

Shortly after starting university, I found myself drawn toward science communication — appearing on television programs, writing for newspapers, and founding science organizations. From early on, I understood that knowing something wasn't enough. It had to be told. It had to be narrated.

After graduating, I ran academic work and science programs in parallel for a while. Later I moved into education management, and gradually realized what I was actually after was experience design — not just the transfer of information.

That's when everything came together: science, narrative, education, space. Conceptual design of museums, science centers, and learning experiences became my practice. I've also been producing a science podcast for years — among the first of its kind in Iran.

If someone asks me today what I do, I'm not sure where to begin. But I know all of it converges at one point — where science, narrative, and design intersect.
